The review identifies a property or equipment action outside the consultant’s delivery remit.
For CQC consultants & care-quality advisers
When your review identifies a property action, we coordinate the next technical step.
Compliance Plus defines and coordinates agreed fire, water hygiene, electrical, gas, asbestos and LOLER workstreams, then returns the relevant reports and status information through the authorised route—without competing for your advisory relationship.

The handoff after the audit
A sound recommendation can still stall after it leaves the action plan.
A mock inspection or quality review may identify a property concern. The next stage can require technical scoping, competent assessment, access planning, quotations and documented follow-up.
Compliance Plus coordinates the agreed property workstream and reporting route. The consultant remains focused on care quality, governance and regulatory advice, while the provider and other relevant dutyholders retain their legal responsibilities.
The provider has a recommendation but no defined route from technical scope to completion.
Technical reports, quotations and action-status records do not reconnect cleanly to the original finding.
Referral protection in writing
Complementary delivery, with a clear commercial boundary.
For each introduced account, the parties confirm the property scope, contact route and reporting permission before work begins. The first engagement is deliberately contained.
Protect the relationship
We do not market CQC registration, policies, mock inspections, care-quality audits, training or retained care consultancy to the referred client.
Own the property scope
Compliance Plus scopes, programmes and manages the agreed technical workstreams through one accountable service contact.
Return the agreed records
With client permission, the consultant receives concise progress, exceptions and relevant reports or status information against the action.
A workflow that fits the existing process
No formal alliance is needed to test one case.
Start with a genuine property action where the client has asked for help. If the scope is unsuitable, we say so quickly.
- 01Permissioned introduction
The consultant introduces Compliance Plus and confirms the property issue with the client’s knowledge.
- 02Defined route and scope
We confirm fit, decision-makers, access, records, exclusions and the quotation route.
- 03Managed coordination
The required competence and registration are defined for the scope before agreed inspection, testing or servicing is allocated.
- 04Records returned
Technical reports, exceptions and status information go back through the authorised client and consultant route.
The defined property remit
Six workstreams, brought into one managed programme.
For CQC-regulated services in England, property records may support evidence under Regulation 15 (premises and equipment) and Regulation 17 (good governance). The applicable technical duties still depend on the premises, equipment, dutyholder and competent assessment; this service does not turn a generic checklist into a legal conclusion.
Fire safety
Fire risk assessment and other defined inspection or servicing requirements.
02Water hygiene
Legionella risk assessment, control planning and applicable monitoring.
03Electrical
Fixed electrical installation inspection, testing and reporting for the agreed scope.
04Gas safety
Agreed plant, appliance, communal and domestic gas scope.
05Asbestos
Competent surveys, registers and management information where relevant.
06LOLER
Applicable thorough examination for lifts, hoists and accessories.
The first engagement
Test the handoff on one client before discussing a wider partnership.
The starting point can be one defined technical action or the fixed Five-Home Property Assurance Review. The provider receives its own written scope and remains free to stop after that work.

A useful partner should reduce risk—not create another one.
The referral standard is agreed around the client, the property scope and the information the consultant is authorised to receive. It is not a promise of regulatory approval.
Will Compliance Plus compete for our consultancy work?
No. For referred accounts, the agreed scope is property assurance and related technical delivery. Compliance Plus does not offer CQC registration, policies, mock inspections, care-quality audits, training or general care consultancy.
Who contracts with the care provider?
The simplest first arrangement is for the provider to contract directly with Compliance Plus for the agreed property scope. Other arrangements can be considered later, but a first referral should not create unnecessary credit, liability or administrative complexity for the consultant.
Will we remain informed?
Yes, where the client has authorised it. We agree the reporting route at the start and return concise progress, exception and supporting-record information against the consultant’s action plan.
What happens if an introduction is not a fit?
We say so quickly and do not stretch the scope. The client may need a single local contractor, a different specialist or no further work. Protecting the relationship matters more than forcing every enquiry into a programme.
Do you pay referral fees?
The first step is service fit, not a commission scheme. Any future commercial arrangement would need to be transparent, documented and appropriate for the client relationship. No payment is assumed as part of the initial referral workflow.
Does the partnership guarantee a CQC outcome?
No. Compliance Plus manages the agreed property-safety scope and delivery evidence. It does not provide regulatory approval, a legal opinion or any promise about a CQC rating or decision.
Discuss one real handoff
Start with one property action that needs a defined technical route.
Tell us what your consultancy does and how property actions are handled today. We will assess whether one protected client introduction would add value and confirm any regional or specialist limitations before the client commits.
- No competing care-consultancy offer
- No formal partnership required to test one case
- No resident or service-user data
Any introduction requires the client’s knowledge and an agreed scope. Compliance Plus does not guarantee legal compliance, technical outcomes outside the agreed work or any CQC decision.
