For schools & academy trusts
Compliance services for schools and academy trusts.
Coordinate assessments, statutory examinations and planned HVAC, pump, drainage and water-infrastructure maintenance across education estates—with delivery planned around term dates, occupied buildings, safeguarding and responsible-body governance.
The operational problem
Every school has different dates, buildings and access constraints.
A trust-wide programme must give central estates teams a consistent view while still respecting the practical requirements of each school.
01Certificates, reports and next dates are held differently from one school to another.
02Visits must be planned around teaching, occupancy, safeguarding and site controls.
03Urgent findings need a clear route from the school contact to central oversight.

The duties and guidance that shape the property programme.
The responsible organisation must identify which requirements apply to each premises. These official sources provide the starting point for scope, competence and evidence decisions.
DfE: Good estate management for schools
Responsible bodies should understand statutory compliance across the estate, define responsibilities and maintain the policies, risk assessments and property records needed for assurance.

Questions
Clear boundaries. Practical answers.
Compliance Plus supports the management, delivery and evidence around property-safety duties. It does not transfer the legal responsibilities held by relevant dutyholders.
Can you support a multi-academy trust?
Yes. A programme can begin with one school or a selected cohort, using an agreed scope and reporting structure that can then be considered for the wider estate.
Can visits be planned during school holidays?
Where access and specialist availability allow, visits can be planned around holidays or quieter periods. Any shutdown, isolation or out-of-hours requirement is agreed during scoping.
How do you manage safeguarding and DBS requirements?
The school or trust should identify its required controls before appointment. We confirm suitable access, supervision and personnel arrangements rather than assume one rule applies to every visit.
Does every school need every listed service?
No. The relevant scope depends on the buildings, equipment, water, ventilation and heating systems, existing records and applicable duties.
Complimentary scope and evidence review
Turn the immediate requirement into a defined first instruction.
Begin with one site, system, service or a small redacted schedule. We will identify obvious evidence gaps, time-critical items and matters requiring specialist review.
- A defined initial scope
- A concise priority summary
- A recommended procurement route
Desk-based review only—not a site inspection, risk assessment, certification, statutory report or legal opinion.
