How Compliance Plus handles website enquiries.

Information we collect
When you submit a website enquiry, we collect your name, email, organisation or property-owner name, the service or premises details supplied and, where relevant, approximate portfolio or building information. You may also provide a phone number and a short description of the requirement. The fire risk assessment calculator shows its result before asking for contact details; calculator answers are sent to us only if you choose to request a fixed written quotation. At submission, we record the page path and any UTM campaign tags present in that page’s URL with the enquiry so we can compare enquiry sources in aggregate. We do not retain campaign tags as you move between pages. New website submissions do not record advertising click IDs. Please do not submit tenant, resident, patient or other third-party personal information.
Why we use it
We use enquiry information to respond, agree the requested review scope, decide whether we can provide a relevant service and keep a record of the conversation. Depending on the enquiry, this processing is necessary to take steps you request before a possible contract and supports our legitimate interest in responding to genuine business enquiries. We do not treat an enquiry as consent to unrelated marketing.
Where it is stored and who receives it
Website enquiries are stored in the site’s private database and are available only to authorised people handling Compliance Plus enquiries and the service providers needed to host and secure the site. We do not sell enquiry information. If an IT provider processes information outside the UK, appropriate safeguards must be used as required by data-protection law.
How long we keep it
We keep an enquiry only for as long as reasonably needed to respond, manage any resulting service discussion, meet applicable record-keeping requirements and resolve disputes. The period therefore depends on whether the enquiry progresses and the nature of the correspondence. Information that is no longer needed should be deleted or anonymised.
Your choices and rights
You may ask for access to your personal information, correction, deletion or restriction, and you may object to processing based on legitimate interests. Cookies, measurement and technical information
This website does not intentionally use advertising or analytics cookies and does not use campaign tags to profile visitors. Search-engine ownership verification uses DNS records only; it adds no browser script, cookie or visitor tracking. The hosting service may process standard technical request and security information needed to deliver and protect the website. If analytics, advertising or booking tools are added later, this notice and any required cookie controls must be updated first.
Cold outreach and direct marketing
Separate direct-marketing activity must use an appropriate lawful basis, identify Compliance Plus clearly and provide a simple way to object or opt out. If you ask us not to contact you for marketing, limited information may be retained on a suppression list so that preference can be respected.
